On Wednesdays We Wear Pink
Having knit one Lightweight Cape Cod Sweater and wanting to wear it every day (though this summer heat was having none of that), I immediately knew I wanted another. In HOT PINK. I really don't mind knitting a pattern more than once, and I knew the flaws with this piece, so it wasn't that big a deal. I went to Zombie Knitpocalypse on a quest for bright pink yarn from Sun Valley Fibers and some sort of matching speckled yarn. The latter was harder than I thought. I ended up with some minis from Sun Valley in an electric blue, with flecks of matching pink. But I wasn't in love with the pairing for a sweater. Right as the market was about to close, I RAN to Three Irish Girls and grabbed a skein of Witches Brew sock. The match is great!
